CEO

William O’Leary was raised in Chatsworth, California, in a family of horse trainers. Growing up surrounded by horses, hounds, and various farm animals, he developed a deep love for animals. At the age of 18, he secured his first job at an animal hospital, where he started by cleaning cages. Over time, William acquired technician skills and gained experience working at both a day practice and a local animal emergency clinic.
Later, William transitioned into veterinary pharmaceutical sales for IGI and laboratory sales for AVA. In 1998, he founded Mission Veterinary Clinic. He diligently grew the business, balancing his sales job during the day and working at the animal emergency clinic at night.
In 2022, William moved Mission Veterinary Clinic to its current location, just a few doors down from the previous site. This expansion provided the clinic with a much-needed facelift and brought in new doctors and staff.
William’s youngest son is currently in veterinary school and is expected to join the family business soon. In his spare time, William enjoys mountain biking, snow skiing, and wildlife photography.
Student DVM

Patrick completed his undergraduate studies at California Lutheran University in Moorpark. Currently, he is a fourth Year veterinary student at WesternU College of Veterinary Medicine, set to graduate in May 2026. Upon graduation, Patrick plans to work full-time at Mission Veterinary Clinic.

Yennifer Gamboa is a Veterinarian graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), an institution accredited by the AVMA. She has nearly six years of experience in small animal medicine, working both day and night shifts, with a strong focus on emergency cases. Her clinical practice includes preventive medicine—such as deworming, vaccination, client education on general care, nutrition, and dental prophylaxis—as well as internal medicine, performing diagnostics through thorough physical examinations, sample collection and interpretation of laboratory studies, abdominal ultrasound, and radiographic imaging. Additionally, she has experience managing hospitalized patients and performing soft tissue surgeries, including cystotomy, enterotomy, resection and anastomosis, pyometra, splenectomy, nodulectomy, mastectomy, neutering, and gastrotomy. She has also carried out euthanasia procedures with empathy and professionalism. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys watching movies, spending time with her loved ones, and enjoying her favorite ice cream, Cherry Garcia from Ben & Jerry’s, in the company of Mora, Jacinto, and Isra, her fiancé, with whom she also loves to travel—especially to the beach. Animals hold a very special place in her personal life. For nearly ten years, she shared her life with Basha, a dog she watched being born and who deeply shaped her vocation. Although she recently lost her due to a pituitary tumor, she carries her forever in her heart. She currently lives with Morita, an eight-year-old Dachshund mix affectionately called “Mouse,” and Jacinto, her first cat, who arrived unexpectedly and whom many believe was sent by Basha to accompany her during this new stage of life.
As a fun fact, Yeniffer is about to get married after eight years of waiting. She describes herself as a loyal friend, always willing to say yes to any plan that involves good food and fun. She attributes everything she has achieved to the unconditional support of her grandparents, her fiancé, and his mother, who have always believed in her.

From a very young age, Carolina knew she was meant to work with animals. Inspired by a deep love for nature instilled by her father—and a childhood filled with animal documentaries like The Crocodile Hunter, Dr. Pol, and Zoboomafoo—Carolina developed a strong sense of responsibility to care for and protect all creatures, great and small. As Steve Irwin once said, “We don’t own the planet Earth, we belong to it. And we must share it with our wildlife.” That belief has guided Carolina throughout her life and career.
Carolina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, where she laid the foundation for a career rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence in animal care. Her journey has taken her from small animal clinics to one of the most renowned zoological institutions in Mexico, the Guadalajara Zoo. There, she gained invaluable hands-on experience working with a diverse range of species—from kangaroos and rhinos to giraffes and elephants.
Her areas of special interest include surgery, emergency care, zoological medicine, and wildlife welfare. Carolina has also completed specialized training in wildlife medicine, including preventive care, chemical and physical restraint, and the development of PIMVs and UMAs—important tools in wildlife management and conservation.
Carolina brings with her over two years of professional experience, including a full year working in a veterinary clinic where she discovered her passion for surgery. Her practical skills are matched by her deep empathy, a quality that shines through in every patient interaction. Whether she’s helping a cat recover from illness or training a dog to overcome behavioral challenges, she finds great joy in seeing animals thrive under her care.
Outside of the clinic, Carolina is an avid >gamer, book lover, and anime fan. She enjoys exploring new foods, discovering hidden gems with friends and family, and spending quiet moments with her own pets—two chihuahuas, Tequila and Griselda, and three cats: Pato, Mr. Norris, and Pandora.
Now continuing her professional journey in the United States, Carolina is both grateful and excited for the opportunity to grow as a veterinarian and serve a new community of pets and their people. Her goal is simple but powerful: to treat every animal as if they were her own and to offer the kind of care that makes a lasting difference.
“I know our animals are family, and I value their health and well-being as if they were my own. Thank you for your trust—I’m here to give 110% every day.”
